BIOGRAPHY

I was born and raised in Sacramento, where my love for the beautiful game of soccer began at the age of six. I played my youth soccer for River City United, and during my high school years at Hiram Johnson, I served as team captain and earned accolades. While I continued to compete on various men’s teams, my true passion quickly shifted to coaching. Returning to Hiram Johnson, I embraced the head coach role for the boys’ and girls’ junior varsity teams and contributed as an assistant for the varsity squads. I have over 15 years of coaching experience and eight years serving on the board of directors for British American Soccer Club. Recently, I’ve been the assistant coach for Destiny Christian Academy’s varsity boys’ team and supporting the Union FC 2009 and 2012 ADP boys’ teams as assistant coach since 2024.  For the last 30 years I have dedicated my professional life to being a youth mentor, advocate, social worker, and coach. I feel fortunate to have gained valuable life lessons through my experiences with soccer. This beautiful game serves as a significant avenue for promoting freedom, creativity, decision-making, accountability, personal growth, and empowerment. I am honored to coach at Union FC and to be able to help athletes reach their highest levels of performance and personal development, both on and off the pitch.
